"La Dolce Vita"

I started this abstract weeks ago and quickly became disheartened and frustrated with it.  I left it sitting in my studio.  After a trip to Florence and viewing the priceless works at the Uffizi Gallery i returned and finished this painting in minutes on my first day back in the studio.  I was clearly inspired by the colors in Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus".  Stepping away from my studio and traveling always inspires new work.
